About the role
The key aspect of this role will be to ensure that client payrolls are completed accurately and on time, providing a strong supportive role to the Payroll Team in relation to the processing of payroll data across a client base covering pay frequencies of weekly,
4-weekly, monthly, and fortnightly
- Managing many payrolls ranging from Sole traders to Ltd Companies
- Payroll processing covering varied frequencies
- Dealing with SMP, SSP and SPP, Coding notices, P45s
- HMRC RTI Submissions
- Dealing with starters & leavers
- Calculation of pay to include NMW rates/overtime/bonus/pay raises/holiday calculation upon client request
- Assisting in the registration and closure of PAYE/CIS schemes
- Assisting with the processing of sub-contractor schemes
Person Specification
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the Payroll Co-ordinator include:
- One year’s experience working in a payroll environment is essential
- Proven success at delivering results, meticulous in nature
- Up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to payroll
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Understanding of payroll, tax, and NI
- Confident in using SAGE line 50
