Initially,  this is a temporary contract for up 12 months.

Hours: 25 hours per week- Monday to Friday- 5 hours per day

Location: St. Asaph

Salary: Negotiable based on skills and experience

About the role

The key aspect of this role will be to ensure that client payrolls are completed accurately and on time, providing a strong supportive role to the Payroll Team in relation to the processing of payroll data across a client base covering pay frequencies of weekly,
4-weekly, monthly, and fortnightly

  • Managing many payrolls ranging from Sole traders to Ltd Companies
  • Payroll processing covering varied frequencies
  • Dealing with SMP, SSP and SPP, Coding notices, P45s
  • HMRC RTI Submissions
  • Dealing with starters & leavers
  • Calculation of pay to include NMW rates/overtime/bonus/pay raises/holiday calculation upon client request
  • Assisting in the registration and closure of PAYE/CIS schemes
  • Assisting with the processing of sub-contractor schemes

Person Specification

The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the Payroll Co-ordinator include:

  • One year’s experience working in a payroll environment is essential
  • Proven success at delivering results, meticulous in nature
  • Up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to payroll
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of payroll, tax, and NI
  • Confident in using SAGE line 50
